Welcome to the NYS Envirothon 2009 blog. The NYS Envirothon, which runs from May 27-28, is a hands-on environmental education competition where a team of five high school students work together in hopes of winning scholarships and awards. The winning team from the NYS Envirothon will compete in the Canon Envirothon in August.

This year, the NYS Envirothon is hosted at Keuka College, and we’ve put this blog together to help promote and publicize some of the great work the students will be doing this May. 

When the competition kicks off on May 27, you’ll be able to find:

  • Captioned photos
  • Student quotes
  • News releases & human interest stories
  • List of high schools & students who will be competing
